Last week we did activities with and talked about motion. We also learned how to solve basic questions regarding speed and displacement. This week we will be learning about how to apply the equations of motion.

You are to read chapters 2.1-2.4 and do the following problems from CH2:

10, 11, 19, 23, 28, 36, 37, 42, 51, 52, 54, 60(remember show work or explain the origin of your answer!)

Homework is due Thursday for Warsaw and Friday for Glenns.

speed= distance traveled/time

average velocity = displacement/time

acceleration= change in velocity/time

position = starting position +(average velocity)(time) + 1/2(acceleration)(time)^2

velocity= starting velocity +(acceleration)(time)
