Week One: 
This week is mainly about getting use to working with the kinds of really big and really small numbers you will run across in this class. We will also explore about systematic measurement through in class activities to introduce and directly apply significant figures. You will leave knowing how to write numbers in scientific notation with appropriate significant figures. You will also be able to convert numbers from regular notation into scientific notation with appropriate significant figures. Please attempt the practice worksheets and check your answers.
